Street Excavation Permit

This type of permit is needed whenever utility work that requires the city street to be disturbed is being done for a resident by an outside contractor.  The permit requires the signature of the resident, contractor and Public Works Director.  There is no charge for the permit so long as a signed copy is returned to City Hall within 72 of digging.  After that there is a $200 fine.
